The story follows six siblings, Azize, Cemo, Zeliha, Fidan, Samet, and Balım, who lose their parents in a single night, and their struggles to stay together and hold on to life despite the tragedies that befall them. Although the story takes place in Istanbul, the root of the tragedy lies in the parents’ Bala and Rıfat’s great love, which began in a small village in Mardin, far from the city.
With no idea where to go, the six siblings set out for Istanbul, driven by Samet’s idea to seek out their “Lion uncles,” who they’ve never met but know their father trusted above all else.
