This heart-wrenching drama follows the six siblings, Azize, Cemo, Zeliha, Fidan, Samet, and Balim, as they struggle to stay together and hold on to life despite the catastrophic events that befall them. Although the story takes place in Istanbul, the roots of the tragedy that befell the siblings lie in the deep love of their parents, Bala and Rıfat. This impossible love begins in a small village in Mardin, far from Istanbul.
With no direction to go, the six siblings embark on a journey to Istanbul, driven by Samet’s idea to seek out their “Lion-like uncles,” who they have never met but know to be their father’s trusted allies.
