Azize’s new job as a shop assistant at a local store sparks a series of conflicts with Devran. However, the real drama unfolds when Pervin and Hamiyet get involved. Disapproving of Azize’s new role, Pervin fires her from the job. Azize’s explosive reaction to this news leaves Pervin stunned, as she delivers a scathing rebuke that no one dares to utter.
The story follows the six siblings, Azize, Cemo, Zeliha, Fidan, Samet, and Balım, as they navigate the challenges of being orphaned and struggling to stay together despite the numerous disasters that befall them. Although the story takes place in Istanbul, the roots of the family’s tragedy lie in the impossible love between their parents, Bala and Rıfat, which began in a small village in Mardin.
With no clear direction, the six siblings embark on a journey to find their father’s trusted ally, the “Lion-like Uncle,” who lives in Istanbul. Despite the uncertainty of their future, they set off on a journey to find the one person they’ve never met but have heard so much about.
