The story takes place in Istanbul, but the siblings’ journey begins in a small village in Mardin, where their parents’ love story started. With no clear direction, the siblings set out for Istanbul, following Samet’s idea to visit their “Lion-like uncles,” who they’ve never met but know to be their father’s trusted allies.
